Welcome to the Atlanta Chapter of Women of Color in Community Development.

Women of Color in Community Development Atlanta’s mission is to support the personal, educational and professional development of women of color engaged in fields related to community and economic development. WCCD Atlanta is a 501c3 organization.

WCCD Atlanta is a non-profit membership organization and professional network that is:

•  Creating a supportive environment for networking among women of color;
•  Providing educational and professional development opportunities for members;
•  Supporting the advancement of students and younger women through mentoring;
•  Advancing the industry through advocacy for community and economic development, including preservation and development of affordable housing, expansion of educational, recreational, health and social service opportunities in low-income communities, expansion of financing and subsidy resources; and
•  Celebrating and promoting the professional accomplishments of women in the community development industry.

WCCD Atlanta is a membership organization and professional network of women of color in the community and economic development industry in the Atlanta metropolitan region.
